The lovely Jeanette Jobson has issued an apple challenge. The other night I needed a quiet art activity, so I brought out the colored pencils, a few apples, and a plate. It was fun to work with the pencils again - especially for something small like this.
Think I might have given myself an appetite for more small CP works!
And a beautiful job you did too. It is good to change mediums now and then isn't it?

Delicious!! And colored pencils can be very therapeutic - kind of like a meditation, don't you think?

Thanks everyone for the kind words. Yes, it is nice to change up mediums - and yes, CPs can be very relaxing - in small doses - I think when the piece is big I am too overwhelmed with stress!

Very nicely done! The colors are lovely and I especially like the plate fading into the light. Beautiful!
